Harlem Civil Rights Multimedia Walking Tour

Wyatte

Harlem, Civil Rights, 1960's Harlem

The Harlem Civil Rights Walking Tour pays homage to personalities and Harlem organizations that were on the scene during 1960’s Harlem.  Walk in the footsteps of Minister Malcolm X, A. Philip Randolph and Rev. Wyatt T. Walker as we present video and sound at sites where history happened.  Listen to Dr. King’s “Beyond Vietnam” speech as you stand in the shadows of Riverside Church, watch Adam C. Powell Jr. deliver speech (1955) while standing at statue that bears his name – this experience will bring 1960’s Harlem to life.

Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Price: $25.00 Per Person – $20.00 Per Person for groups of 15 or more – every Friday + other days on the calendar
Meet: 104 Malcolm X Blvd. Harlem Heritage Tourism and Cultural Center 2, 3 express (IRT – Red line) trains arrive directly to location at 116th Street.
