We at Harlem Heritage Tours feel that from east to west, 116th Street in Harlem is one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse streets in the entire New York City area. Spanish, African-American, Jewish, Caribbean and African cultures are all present within the corridor and American hero’s such as Fiorello La Guardia, Malcolm X, Vito Marcantonio, Wyatt Tee Walker + more have left indeliable imprints on 116th Street.
