Harlem Heritage Tours aims to provide the most authentic gospel experience in the industry by not only taking you to hear the wonderful gospel music, but by complimenting your church visits with cultural walking and bus tours.  Gospel tours are conducted by those who live in Harlem – Get an insiders view of Harlem gospel.  All gospel tours are dedicated to the late Bishop Preston Robert Washington, a man who loved Harlem and used his many talents to improve the social, political and economic conditions in the community.

#1 "Harlem Gospel Walking Tour"

Experience the spiritually uplifting sounds of a Harlem Baptist gospel choir at one of Harlem’s most renowned churches, then tour the historic streets of the community.  See various religious houses of worship and sights of cultural significance such as the Lenox Lounge, Minton’s Playhouse and the Theresa Hotel.

Meet:      Harlem Heritage Tourism & Cultural Center  - 104 Malcolm X Blvd, between 115th & 116th Streets on uptown side of Malcolm X Blvd.  2, 3 express trains arrive directly to location on (IRT – red line).  Tour guide will be standing out front wearing red hat with sign in hand reading “Harlem Heritage Tours”.

G #2 "Harlem Gospel Multimedia Bus/Walking Tour"

     Cruise the historic streets of Harlem on a Sunday morning by bus getting off periodically for brief walks.  Video and audio clips will be shown on the monitors of the bus at Harlem locations to bring the history of great faith based organizations to life.  Ride by prominent Baptist Churches while viewing a riveting sermon by Dr. Rev. Wyatte Tee Walker.  Hear the philosophies of Elijah Muhammad while the bus rests in front of Masjid Malcolm Shabazz + more. 
Many other sights will be seen such as the Apollo Theater and Sugar Hill.  Group will join a Gospel church service at one of Harlem’s most renowned houses of worship.  This gospel tour provides great gospel music + lots of information about the overall contribution that religious organizations/leaders make to the community.

Meet:   New York City Visitor and Information Center - 810 Seventh Avenue, between 52nd & 53rd Streets across the street from the Sheraton towers.  Guide with red hat will be waiting in front motor of coach with a sign that reads “Harlem Heritage Tours”.
