Elijah Muhammad: The Man and the Impact of his Teachings on Harlem
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad died on Feb. 25th, 1975 and was one of the most influential and controversial African-American leaders of the 20th Century. As the Founder of the Nation of Islam, Minister Muhammad is credited by many in Harlem for instilling in the community an understanding of the need for economic determination and strenghening of Black family values. Join us for this interactive/multimedia presentation led by a member of the Harlem muslim community – we will learn about the man and the impact of his teachings on Harlem.
