The Harlem Heritage Multimedia Bus / Walking Tour

This multimedia bus / walking tour provides an overall history of the Harlem community, with special emphasis on 20th century Harlem. Learn how Harlem became the African-American capital of the USA and the impact the community has had on the world over the past 100 years. In an effort to provide true understanding of the history, we will present video and audio though out the tour. Visit the world famous Apollo Theater and view 1960’s footage of a James Brown performance before you enter the historic building, cruise through Strivers Row and view scenes from Spike Lee’s movie “Jungle Fever”, take a picture on the steps of the Langston Hughes House after listening to his poem: “The Negro Speaks of Rivers” + much more.
