For over four decades Adam Clayton Powell Jr. served as one of America’s greatest religious and political leaders, championing the rights of disadvantaged people worldwide. Ride and walk through Harlem as we use multimedia effects such as video and audio clips to celebrate the many accomplishments of Adam and his contemporaries. See video of Adam conducting a Congressional Hearing on a Harlem Street, hear his voice and experience his grand manner within the district that he served so well. Learn the history of many of Adam’s contemporaries such as Jesse Gray, Raymond Jones, Malcolm X, Lloyd Dickens, Vito Marcantonio, Queen Mother Moore, A. Phillip Randolph and many others.
