Harlem is ideal for running and jogging, consisting of 55 city blocks, unofficially starting where Central Park ends at 110th Street, from the East River all the west to the Hudson River. Beautiful parks and wide open spacious boulevards adorn the Harlem landscape, overflowing with cultural history existing along all the  avenue and within every street. Every Wednesday we will jog through a different area exploring the history the starting and surrounding area. On April 11th we starting at the intersection of Manhattan and Morningside avenues at 113th Street. At this corner exists a statue of General George Washington and Marquis De Lafayette, directly across the way from the beautiful Morningside Park, growing up in Harlem I always loved this area, and would see the statue often,
