Imagine walking down the historic Harlem streets with a born and raised Harlem tour guide learning all the history, then out of no where appears legendary rapper “Raheem” of the ground breaking hip hop group “Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five”
In 1982 “Raheem” and his group released one of the first socially conscious rap songs, depicting the perils of inner-city life. The song was an instant success: ranked 1982 #1 track of the year by NME, Rolling Stone ranked “The Message” #51 in its List of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, (9 December 2004). It had the highest position for any 1980s release and was the highest ranking hip-hop song on the list. In 2012 it was named the greatest hip-hop song of all time.
“Raheem” is one of the nicest guys we have ever met in the entertainment industry, he showed much love to our guests from Germany and Norway.
