Authentic Harlem Blog loves the heritage of the Harlem Black Greek community. Members of Alpha Phi Alpha, 1905 at 203 West 138th Street (Stivers Row). Vertner Woodson Tandy, one of the founding members (Seven Jewels) of Alpha Phi Alpha and first African-American registered Architect in New York State lived in Harlem within Strivers Row. We at Harlem Heritage Tourism and Cultural Center and Authentic Harlem Blog will continue to explore Black Greek Harlem heritage.
