Harlem Heritage Book Club
Harlem is seen by many as the cultural capital of Black America, many books have been written that express the communities shared tradition and cultural values. The Harlem Heritage Book Club celebrates literature based in Harlem NYC via literary tourism.
How it Works:
Collectively we will read books set in Harlem, with the idea of traveling to Harlem and exploring themes and visiting actual sights mentioned in the text., this enriches both the reading of a book and the cultural experience of visiting the actual sight. Great for locals and travelers, awesome way to reinterpret your favorite book while traveling and meeting interesting people online and ultimately in person.
