Hip Hop culture stated in the Bronx, but Harlem served as both stage and player during the early days of Hip Hop. The Roots of Hip Hop Multimedia Walking Tour takes back to the early 1970′s/1980′s when local young people used their creativity and imagination to create what has now blossomed into a global phenomenon. Tour starts with a Hip Hop video presentation at the Harlem Heritage Tourism and Cultural Center located across the street from legendary Harlem Hip Hop location – “Harlem World”
Vintage Harlem Hip Hop video and audio will be presented along the way – old school hip hop culture will come to life on this tour.
