Adam Clayton Powell Jr., with his wife, the ultra talented jazz pianist Hazel Scott shown in background picture ~ WOW. Our friends are very interested in Harlem civil rights history, and I’m interested in Memphis civil rights history. One day soon I most visit the civil rights museum in Memphis: civil rights movement, a shared history.
