The idea of this tour is to convey what the Civil Rights Movement was, what it meant to the country/world, and the role that Harlem

leaders and community organizations played in the movement. Considering the resent accomplishments of President Barack Obama, we think it is only fitting to recognize the period (1960’s) and the legends that laid the foundation for his  accomplishments.  This tour is unique in that we will present video clips of history at the very sight where history happened. Hear the voice of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., as he denounces the Vietnam War while we approach the Riverside Church. Watch video of Malcolm X, as he rally’s a crowd with words of wisdom and truth.  Feel the energy of former Congressman and Religious leader Rev. Adam C. Powell Jr., as he screams to the crowd “WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND.”  Relive the history.
