Bayard Rustin was one of the smartest and bravest of the 1960’s Civil Rights Leaders, but he is one of the least known and we at the Harlem Heritage Tourism and Cultural Center think that is a crime. Mr. Rustin was one of Dr. King’s top advisor, the March on Washington could not have happened without the assistance of Bayard Rustin. Come celebrate Mr. Rustin with us and go home and teach the community kids about his contributions to African-American history.
